Carry it into the winter

When I saw Aimee Song's metallic skirt, I completely fell in love and had to steal her style! This amazing skirt is from Missguided. This was my third purchase form them in the last week. Their 48 hour delivery service to Ireland is fantastic and the quality of their clothing is fantastic. This skirt has amazing stenciling detail, which really sold the skirt to me! I wore a plain denim blouse (Penneys'/Primark) as the skirt is such a  strong feature, paired with my seriously over worn gold metallic heeled boots from Zara (last season)

It's not just a coffee!

Cigarette trousers-Topshop

I haven't done an outfit post in a while. I went a bit mad and went on a few shopping sprees so here is the first of many. I love wearing items that are not your typical "matchy matchy"! It can get so boring being safe, so be brave, experiment! That's what I love about fashion, anything goes. There is so many different people with different tastes it is such a fun world to be in. I simply adore reading through different fashion blogs and seeing how diverse people are. I love my Starbucks vest so much. I bought it on a stall in London during the summer.

Push over boys!

Timo Weiland

Yes girls," suited and booted" is the phrase you will be needing this season. Thanks to designers such as Moschino, Dsquared2 and Timo Weiland we are stealing this one from the men! I adore outfits that are structured and give a girl a sense of power and looks like she knows what she is doing. There is no better feeling when you put on an outfit and you feel like the Queen herself. That is why I think this trend will become increasingly popular.  Female celebs are rocking this look across the globe. If the trousers and suit jacket is too masculine for you try a structured jumpsuit teamed with a fitted blazer. Add a feminine touch with loose hair and bright lipstick.

In a fantasy world full of fabric

I must say I am over the moon that the amazing check fabric is one of Autumn/Winter's biggest trends. Celeb's are rockin and we will be too! It's quite funny but I can remember wearing tartan plaid skirts as a child, thanks Mam! Never did I think I would be only delighted to see it again! Not only did it grace one fashion show but many designers set the tartan stakes high. Thanks to the likes of Dolce and Gabbana, Emilia Wickstead and Moschino, we can all enjoy a fabulous stylish winter. I adore the summer but I love the layering of winter fashion. This season is very structured. When wearing tartan skirts, keep it sophisticated and no school girls looks!!

Style Crush!

I am currently in love with Aluna Francis from AlunaGeorge, the amazing  electronic duo from London.

Here are my favourite pics!

Sports meets floral

I was having such a lazy day I wanted to wear nothing but comfortable clothing and whats better than an oversized jumper. I recently purchased it at Zara in the sales.

A memory from the past

A few years ago my Gran Aunt gave me one of her tops that I always admired. A few days ago it was her 2nd year anniversary mass and I thought it was appropriate to wear it. I love vintage clothing and when it has a personal connection it makes them so much more special. I teamed it with a plain tuscan capri trousers and woven shoes.

A whole lot of polka part 2!

This was my third polka dot purchase from Penneys/Primark! I am in love with it. It is so comfortable and the material is heavy which will be great for the winter. It was an absolute steal at €9! My shoes were pre-loved. The heel is not too high and the fuchsia pink goes with everything. I love them!
